The Abbot Kinney District Association, a 501c3 non-profit
organization, will celebrate its 24th Annual Abbot Kinney
Festival with 150,000+ visitors on September 28, 2008. Funds
raised for the AKDA directly benefit the local community.
Pink Cloud Events has been commissioned to curate and
produce a young and engaging Green Lifestyle Area, which is
located on Milwood Avenue, between the newly opened G2
environmental art gallery and a soon-to-be open upscale
restaurant called Gjelina in Venice, CA.

“CONNECTED” conveys our idea on the motivation for living a
green lifestyle: to be connected to your community, your
environment, your future and your self.
The Green Living Area will feature a multitude of deliciously
healthy food and beverage options, a bike valet, test drives of
alternative fuel vehicles, eco-art workshops, environmentally
focused tours of the surrounding neighborhood, a music and
performance stage, and a VIP celebrity/sponsor/artist lounge
throughout the day.
This is the first time that the Abbot Kinney District Association
has ever had a VIP lounge at the festival. We will celebrate the
artists, sponsors, and host committee with a VIP reception on
Saturday with a food and cocktail menu curated by CJ of Top
Chef and a bike polo demonstration sponsored by Clif bar. |
