About the AKFA Community Grant Program
Funded by festival proceeds, the AKFA Community Grants Program awards funding to selected Venice-based nonprofit organizations that offer services and programs aimed at youth and families. Applications are accepted each year preceding the festival and presented at the festival in September. Since 1984, well over $300,000 in festival proceeds have been invested into the community of Venice.
We thank everyone who supports, volunteers, shops and visits the Abbot Kinney Festival, for it is the sole revenue source for our community grant program.

If your non-profit or community organization has an annual operating budget of less than $1,000,000 and serves the community of Venice, you are eligible to submit an application for a Community Grant. Join our mailing list to be notified when 2017 applications are accepted.
